Mats Johansson

Mats has been playing guitar professionally for over 30 years. From numerous projects in the eighties with Swedish bands he started to write songs with a successful Norwegian band Drama who were signed to Warner/Chappell. He was helping the band with lyrics and met Johnny Warman and they started to work together and still do to this day. 

Mats had other songwriting projects, which took place in 1990 with John Sloman (Uriah Heep, Gary Moore) and Pino Palladino who ended up on a world tour 91 -92 with Paul Young/Zuchero.

From the beginning of 1990 until the present day he has done thousands of studio sessions with Scandinavian and international artists like Ace of Base, A-ha, Charlotte Perrelli, A*Teens, Sös Fenger, Trine Rein, Bosson, Asia, Kurt Nilsen, Uno Svenningsson, Carola, Lena Philipsson, Izabella Scorupco, the Poodles, Tuesday Girls, Creation, Go For It, D’Sound and many more…
