VertigoNation make songs that are like mini road trips. Their sound is at once arresting and comforting as they cross electronic elements with classic rock styles.
Since arriving from Prague, Czech Republic (although the vocalist is Australian) the trio have been experimenting with different styles and arrangements to come up with their newest tracks which are their truest sound. Influences as extreme and varied as Rammstein, The Prodigy, Goldfrapp and Garbage meet in their music.
The band has taken time off the live scene to write new material which has been recorded in their home studio and is currently being produced by Robert "Void" Caprio out of Interzone Studios in New York.
Once mastered, the band is eager to take this new stuff out and perform, since this is an integral part of how their style has developed. They love the freedom and energy that comes with playing in front of excitable, sweaty bodies.
Coming from Europe has definitely given their sound a unique flavour and apart from cultivating fans from Europe through relentless internet promotion, they are able to offer the Australian scene something fresh that has been welcomed by internet prowlers and live audiences alike.
