About Us

Yell Music Ltd was launched in March 2005. The founder, Jana Yell, has been involved in the music industry most of her life, mainly in publishing. Her longest and most recent time was with Warner/Chappell Music in London.

Her role at Warner/Chappell, spanning 20 years, changed over the years, from Royalty Manager to Royalties Director to International Royalty Development Manager. Prior to Warner/Chappell she had a brief spell with SBK/EMI, a few years with United Artists Music, Bron Music and her first job in music industry with a classical-orientated publisher Josef Weinberger Ltd.

The emphasis of the organisation is on music publishing and consultancy. Yell Music aims to provide a quality, reliable and trustworthy service to songwriters, publishers, artists, managers, agents, lawyers, from consultancy to Royalty Statements and audits.

Yell Music is very much involved with Eastern Europe as Jana is Czech. Yell Music is a direct member of OSA, the Czech Society and looks to represent songwriters/artists from either side to break into different markets and open new possibilities.
