Andy Garratt is a versatile guitarist, vocalist and composer with international experience. After his music degree at the University Salford he formed and fronted rock outfit No Hope in New Jersey, which was snapped up by Atlantic Records, had significant airplay on MTV and Radio 1 and toured big venues throughout the UK, culminating with appearances at the V Festival and Download.

He went on to extend the range of his musicianship, playing with leading musicians in various genres, such as Cecil Welch, Henry Mancini's principal trumpeter and soloist, bassist Eric Rupert, who has worked with megastars such as Dizzy Gillespie, Slash and Dolly Parton, and harmonica player Tommy Morgan, whose credits include the Beach Boys' Good Vibrations and over 500 film soundtracks.

Andy is a competent all-rounder, playing jazz, funk, blues, indie and classical guitar as well as rock. His experience and eclecticism show in his original and engaging compositions.
